YouTube No Translation

YouTube No Translation is a Firefox extension that preserves titles, descriptions, and audio tracks in their original language on YouTube, enhancing the viewing experience for multilingual users.

Users expressed frustration over YouTube's "hostility to multilingual users." The main technical insight revolves around the unwanted autodubbing feature and its lack of customization options for language preferences.

Another recurring theme in the discussion is the demand for better user control over language settings. Another user notes, "It is insane to me that you cannot turn it off in the setting."
