LittleLearner: Pedagogical LMs

LittleLearner confines a language model's knowledge to concepts appropriate for a 5th-grade level by training from scratch on an 88B-token curriculum aligned with the K–5 Common Core. The project provides three model scales (0.6B, 1.3B, 5B) with matched unfiltered controls and live browser interaction for study of knowledge exposure and in-context learning, while explicitly excluding content beyond grade 5.
