Diagrams

Diagrams lets you draw the cloud system architecture in Python code

Participants discuss the utility of diagramming tools like Diagrams as Code, noting that "allowing specification in Python offers very little advantage." The main technical insight is the debate over whether a dedicated Domain-Specific Language (DSL) or existing languages like Python provide better accessibility and usability for users creating diagrams.

Another recurring theme in the discussion is the challenge of integrating these tools into existing workflows. One user highlights, "How does everyone else solve this?" indicating a shared concern about compatibility with platforms like Confluence for publishing and syncing diagrams effectively.
