Basic Income Pilot Project

Explore the findings of Germany's first long-term study on universal basic income, which followed 122 participants receiving €1,200 monthly for three years. Discover how basic income impacts labor, self-determination, well-being, and finances, backed by scientific research.

The participants discussed the implications of a universal basic income (UBI) and its effects on human behavior and the economy. One user noted, "scale matters for this kind of thing."

Another recurring theme in the discussion was skepticism regarding the effectiveness of UBI in different socio-economic contexts. Another user expressed, "I am deeply skeptical that the effect of UBI is independent of common culturally influenced behaviors."
